Think before you pack…New Baggage Fees

Think before you pack! Airlines such as United, US Airways, Spirit will begin charging its passengers flying domestically additional fees for second bags checked in. A $25 (each way) fee will be applied if checking in a second bag on United and US Airways. Both airlines are set to begin charging this fee on May 5, 2008. Spirit increased their checked luggage fees to $10 per bag (if paid online) and $20 (if paid at airport) on February 20, 2008.
