In an effort to alleviate costs and delay issues, American Airlines announced that they are cutting flights from its major hubs. Including: 28 flights from Chicago, 8 from St. Louis, 19 from Dallas/Ft. Worth, and 5 from New York’s LaGuardia airport. American will no longer serve Oakland, California; London (Stansted); or Barranquilla, Colombia.
American Eagle will also cut flights in these major hubs and will no longer serve Providence, Rhode Island; Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; and San Luis Obispo, California.
