<a href="http://www.aquaexpeditions.com/">Aqua Expeditions</a> is offering the first luxury vessel to ever cruise the Amazon: <a href="http://www.aquaexpeditions.com/mv_aqua.asp?option=overview">M/V Aqua</a>. Its an amazing looking vessel complete with 12 oversized guest suites, four master suites with incredible 180-degree panoramic views of the jungle and blue waters.</p>

<p>Each air-conditioned (Notice I said air-conditioned&#8230;.veri important) suites measures between 230 to 240 square feet and is designed by noted Peruvian architect Jordi Puig. The ship also features a dining room, indoor lounge, an observation deck, and an outdoor lounge and a small boutique. </p>
<p>The M/V Aqua offers <a href="http://www.aquaexpeditions.com/itineraries.asp?option=full_programs">3,4, and 7 day itineraries </a>starting in Iquitos, Peru and stopping at many locations along the river. There are many excursions, offered and optional, including: River explorations, a Monkey and Dolphin expedition, Jungle Walking, and Tropical Fish-fishing in the Sapote River&#8230;..find THOSE options on Carnival!</p>
<p>Of course these river cruises are rather <a href="http://www.aquaexpeditions.com/departures.asp?option=fit_rates_2008">pricey </a>but I&#8217;m certain that its an experience you&#8217;ll never forget. The prices for 2008 departures are below and in 2009 they will rise about 10 -15%.</p>
