My first time ever on a plane was when I was 13 years old. I was headed on a flight to Russia for a summer program for two weeks. This was my first experience away from the comforts of home and in the midst of an environment completely unknown to me. Although, I was initially a little afraid to hop on the plane, I later realized how amazing the experience turned out to be! That’s when my love affair with traveling began. While in college, I interned in London for a semester and got to travel to a few countries in Europe while there. From that point on, whenever I could hop a plane…I would.

As years passed, I realized that work, life, and other “grown-up stuff” had slowed down my international traveling to a mere existence. Gone were the days of haphazardly going on a trip without a care in the world…they now had to actually be planned. I had to think about things like…vacation time …and budgets.

It wasn’t until recently, through the motivation of my lovely friend, Ebonee, that the travel bug bit me again. She would occassionally e-mail me vacation deals and specials, and I began to think “Why not? We should go“. I wasn’t going to let “the grown-up stuff” put off my travel pursuits any longer. It was time to make things happen! Last year, Ebonee and I really put our travel planning into high gear. Although, she’s in St. Louis and I’m in Atlanta, we were able to work together perfectly and plan two great trips - Puerto Rico, last summer, and Italy, last fall. Our trips together turned out to be amazing! We proclaimed ourselves as true travel partners and JetSet Divas. We were so excited about planning our next destinations, that we decided to share our excitement with others and get them traveling as well.

And that’s how TwoJetSetDivas.com was born… We’re just two women who want to show other people, especially females, how life-changing international travel can be, and that it can be attainable no matter the circumstance. We want to share the tips and resources we’ve found along the way that has helped us travel in true Diva-style, because we all deserve it.

Even though it went on a little break, my love affair with travel is back on and stronger than ever. Can’t wait to see where it’s going to take me next…

Ebonee (Samsonite Packing Jetsetting Globetrotter…alter ego E-Travel)
The year was 1996 and AOL was the next best thing! One of my “Buddy List” friends told me he had a friend (MzTravelDiva) who was planning to go to college in STL, where I live, and I (at the time) had plans to go to school in ATL, where she lives… and that is how I met Chrishette. WHO KNEW that 12 years later we would actually be good friends and set up trips for “Divas” to travel internationally…and every now and then, the contiguous U.S. and outlining territories.

My Diva-licious partner and I work very well together. We both search for deals. I work on the logistics…flight, hotel, ground transportation etc. And then she worries about what to do and explore once we get there.

Travel and Entertainment are my passion….probably because I am self-diagnosed ADD and can only concentrate when things are constantly changing.

I like to travel, I like to club, I like to be outside the house (not necessarily in nature) and I try to keep my ear to the streets about activities happening in the U.S. and beyond…but most importantly I look for the best travel deals.
